We Shall Overcome
5 April @ 4:00 pm - 11:30 pm
Since May 2015 We Shall Overcome organisers have run more than 1100 events in 150 different towns and cities, raising an estimated £500,000 worth of food, cash, clothing, bedding, furniture and electrical goods for those struggling at the sharp end of Tory Austerity. Join us for a night of live music and poetry in the spirit of solidarity and support! Acts will be performing from 4pm until 1am.
Music on the night will be from:
Graham Watson, The Northern Riots, The Fuzz Junkies, Jenkem Revolt, Serial Killer Glasses, Reverie, Phillip Bull, Freya, Andy Raw, Jack Robertson and Mally Jackson.
Interspaced with Poetry from:
Graham Rhodes, Lucination, Abbie Ingham, Nell Williams, Charles Kirby, James Koppart and Stuart Ackroyed
and all rounded off with a DJ set from Jo Laking.
Expect high energy punk, indie, rock music and poetry!
